Attention all college rodeo contestants entered in the WTAMU NIRA rodeo this weekend (October 9-11, 2014) at the Amarillo National Center, Amarillo, Texas. Here is an offer we think will be hard to pass up while you are in our town this weekend. Swing by our store at 6951 S. Bell, Amarillo, Texas, show us your college rodeo vest or NIRA card and we'll give you a free Coolhorse Retro Trucker Cap or Coolhorse Beanie- no stinkin' strings attached! We normally get about $20 each for these. We will only give 1 item per contestant after you show us your vest or card, this offer will end Saturday at 6:00 PM and it's only good while supplies last. Not only will you have hundreds of the most competitive collegiate rodeo contestants in the nation in town this weekend (the Southwest Region is famous for turning out many PRCA world champions), there's a unique "twist" to the roping and bull dogging... it will be a Pendleton type set up. No chute will be used, instead cattle will be brought down an alley while ropers and doggers wait for them to cross a hand-pulled barrier. This will make for a great rodeo! This is West Texas A&M University's collegiate rodeo and will be held at the climate controlled, indoor arena at the Amarillo National Center in Amarillo, Texas.
